Research Award Recipient and Student Scholarship Awards Announced

The USM Women’s Forum proudly announces its Faculty Research Award recipients for 2005. The purpose of the awards is to advance research that impacts the lives of women—social, economic, political, and health conditions—and to provide seed money for junior faculty’s research ideas. Congratulations to this year’s recipient.
Dr. Rochell Newman, University of Maryland College Park, awarded $1,000 for research on The Effect of Menopause on Women’s Lexical Access.
On behalf of the USM Women's Forum Student Scholarship Committee the following students have been selected to receive a scholarship in the amount of $500.00. Congratulations to the 2005 Student Scholarship Winners!
