Women's Forum

Welcome from our Chair

It is indeed a privilege and honor to welcome you to the University System of Maryland Women's Forum (USMWF). Our mission is to bring together the women of USM to enhance the status of women, foster system-wide networking and encourage participation of women from all institutional levels of the System. We value the diversity and richness of perspectives and experiences of all communities of women within the University System of Maryland. It is with this in mind that we work together to provide a platform for women to develop, mentor and lead within the System.

The Women's Forum encourages life-long learning, professional development, networking and mentoring opportunities. To accomplish this, we maintain a focus on interests and issues affecting women, as women are the fastest growing segment of today's workforce. Our role is to survey, encourage and assist each campus in establishing viable forms of support for women that create opportunities for community building.
