New Tools for a New Age

Dear Friends:

The University System of Maryland (USM) Women's Forum invites you to register to attend our 16th Annual Conference, scheduled to take place on Thursday, November 15, 2007 at the National 4-H Conference Center located at 7100 Connecticut Avenue in Chevy Chase, MD. Our theme for this year is " New Tools for a New Age". You may access the National 4-H Conference Center website for directions and features at: www.4hcenter.org The conference will provide participants opportunities for personal and professional growth and development. This is our major fundraising effort to have monies for student scholarships, faculty research awards, and staff development awards. This is also an opportunity to network and expand your horizons.

The Conference will begin at 8:00 am and end at 3:45 pm. There is an early bird registration fee of $65.00 if paid prior to October 15, 2007. After October 17, registration fee is $75.00. Please browse the site and read about the things we do and are doing to enhance the status of women, foster networking opportunities for women, and encouraging women participation in all facets of the USM's thirteen (13) institutions.

This event is open to all members of the USM. Family and friends are also encouraged to attend. Please enter this important date on your calendars and make arrangements to attend the Conference. This is a one day event. Seating is limited. Advance registration is required. THERE WILL BE NO ON-SITE REGISTRATION.
